Amcor Limited, a global leader in responsible packaging, seeks a Plant General Manager to oversee engineering and maintenance at a large blown film extrusion site in the UK. You will manage shift engineers, drive a proactive maintenance program, and ensure safe, efficient operation in collaboration with Production and Quality teams.

This is a full-time, permanent on-site role with a Monday–Friday 08:45–17:00 schedule.

Competenze

• Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in production maintenance is essential.
• Strong health, safety and environmental awareness.
• Ambitious, driven and tenacious with results focus.

Mansioni

• Lead all shift and day engineers and maintenance activities.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture.
• Manage the on-site preventative maintenance schedule for extrusion equipment.
• Plan and execute daily maintenance tasks and diagnostics.
• Investigate incidents and determine root causes.
• Coordinate with operations to maximise production uptime.
