Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Romford is seeking a Plant Maintenance Engineer to join a market-leading manufacturing business. You will be responsible for maintaining plant, utilities and facilities equipment, carrying out repairs and planned maintenance to ensure continuous operations.

The role offers a Monday–Friday days shift with a competitive salary of £43,700 plus benefits and opportunities for training and progression in a well-established environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced engineer with plant and utilities equipment.
• Maintenance and breakdown of plant, utilities or facilities equipment.
• High attention to detail and safe working practices.
• Ability to work on own initiative or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance across plant, utilities, facilities and manufacturing equipment.
• Plan and perform scheduled and reactive maintenance.
• Ensure safe systems of work and compliance.

• Maintenance, repair and breakdown of any plant, utilities or facilities equipment.
• Excellent mechanical skills involving belts, bearings and chains as well as good electrical knowledge.
• High attention to detail.
• Understanding of safe systems of work.
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.

Desirable Requirements for the Plant Maintenance Engineer

• Knowledge of CMMS systems.
