Our welcoming client is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer with electrical experience for the position.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be a main technician responsible for effective maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant, building, and equipment. Working with our client's in-house engineering team, you will report to the senior engineer and be a key part of the wider plant team.

The successful candidate will have some experience in mechanical engineering, but with a stronger bias towards electrical and maintenance engineering.

Qualifications:

- Completed an engineering apprenticeship or similar Level 3 qualifications.

In this role, you will:

• Attend to mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment, and building issues.
• Carry out safety tests as required.
• Start up and shut down processing plant, equipment, and facilities.
• Undertake a programme of planned preventative maintenance to ensure optimum use and minimal downtime.
• Follow procedures laid down in BS EN ISO 9001:2000 / 14001 Local Working Instructions and the Company Operations Manual, which may be updated.
• Support building maintenance and other ad hoc tasks.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.
• Work Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning per month for PPM tasks.

• Salary of £38,000 to £41,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, with overtime rates up to double time.
