Plant Maintenance Engineer

Full-time, Permanent position

Salary: up to £41,000 per annum with OT & Bonus structure

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, Friday 07:00 to 14:00

Our client is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer with electrical experience for this role.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be a key technician responsible for maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant, building, and equipment. You will work with the in-house engineering team, report to the senior engineer, and be part of the wider plant team.

Requirements include: some mechanical engineering experience, preferably with an electrical bias, and completion of an engineering apprenticeship or similar Level 3 qualification.

Key responsibilities:

• Attend to mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment, and building issues.
• Perform safety tests as required.
• Start up and shut down processing plant, equipment, and facilities.
• Implement planned preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Follow company and ISO standards and procedures.
• Support building maintenance and ad hoc tasks.
• Participate in scheduled PPM tasks, including one Saturday morning per month.

Benefits include:

• Salary: £38,000 to £41,000 per annum, with overtime paid at up to double time.
