Job description

Plant Maintenance Engineer

Full-time, Permanent position

Salary: up to £41,000 per annum with OT & Bonus structure

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, Friday 07:00 to 14:00

Our client is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer with electrical experience.

Responsibilities include providing maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant, building, and equipment, working with the in-house engineering team, reporting to the senior engineer, and supporting the wider plant team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, completed an engineering apprenticeship or similar Level 3 qualification.

Key duties:

1. Attend to mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment, and building issues.
2. Conduct safety tests as required.
3. Start up and shut down processing plant and equipment.
4. Perform planned preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.
5. Follow safety and operational procedures as per BS EN ISO standards and company manuals.
6. Support building maintenance and other ad hoc tasks.
7. Work Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning per month for PPM tasks.

1. Salary up to £41,000, with overtime paid up to double time.
