Plant Maintenance Engineer

Full-time, Permanent position

Salary: up to £41,000 per annum with OT & Bonus structure

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, Friday 07:00 to 14:00

Our welcoming client seeks an experienced maintenance engineer with electrical experience. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be a main technician providing maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant, building, and equipment. You will work with the in-house engineering team, report to the senior engineer, and be a key part of the plant team.

Candidate requirements:

• Experience in mechanical engineering, with a bias towards electrical & maintenance engineering
• Completed an engineering apprenticeship or similar Level 3 qualification

Responsibilities include:

• Attend to mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment, and building issues
• Carry out safety tests
• Start up and shut down processing plant, equipment, and facilities
• Perform planned preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime
• Follow BS EN ISO 9001:2000 / 14001 standards and company procedures
• Support building maintenance and ad hoc tasks
• Additional ad hoc duties

Work pattern: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, Friday 07:00 to 14:00, with one Saturday morning per month for PPM tasks.
