Job summary

O-I in the United Kingdom is seeking a Plant Logistics Lead to coordinate warehouse and distribution operations across the site and with external 3PL partners. You will manage receiving, storage of packaging components, and the movement of finished goods while ensuring health and safety, quality and KPI targets.

You will lead a team, oversee the logistics P&L, and work with cross functional teams to align with business needs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Operational experience in a comparable position in logistics / purchasing at site/plant level.
• Experience in a matrixed organisation is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor warehouse management and distribution/transport.
• Act as contract manager and face of O-I with 3PL partners.
• Manage receiving, documentation and temporary warehousing of components.
• Oversee finished goods storage, empty returnables collection.
• Develop and implement improvement plans with 3PL to boost KPI performance.
