Job summary

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are partnering with a well-established plant hire firm to appoint an experienced Service Co-ordinator. Based in Orpington, you will coordinate engineers, manage breakdowns and ensure servicing and repairs are planned efficiently.

You will liaise with customers, suppliers and the depot team, schedule work, update records and maintain a professional service throughout the repair process. A proactive, organised approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating engineers, technicians or mobile service teams.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good IT and administration skills.
• Ability to prioritise multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and scheduling engineers for planned servicing, maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Taking customer breakdown calls and gathering accurate information on faults.
• Allocating engineers based on location, availability and equipment requirements.
• Raising and updating job cards and service records.
• Providing a professional and responsive service to customers throughout the repair process.
