Infinitive Resources is currently seeking an experienced Plant Fitter or HGV Mechanic to join a global Rail & Construction plant business at the forefront of Engineering, Manufacturing, and Maintenance with a worldwide presence.

Location

Based in Birmingham or Stafford.

Responsibilities

1. Planned and reactive maintenance of equipment
2. Diagnose machinery issues on site
3. Prevent equipment downtime
4. Maintain a customer-focused approach

Requirements

1. Level 2 NVQ
2. Experience with HGV or Heavy Plant equipment
3. Valid driving license
4. IRTEC certification (not essential but preferred)

All training related to Rail safety and standards will be provided. The role includes a van, tooling, and other specialist equipment. This position offers significant career growth opportunities, with many managers in the business having advanced from roles on the tools.
