Job summary

K.A.G. Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a leading manufacturer in the Food industry to recruit a Site Engineering Manager for their Warminster site. You will lead the engineering function, drive reliability, and manage budgets while developing a high‑performing team.

Strong focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement will be essential to maximise uptime and efficiency. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will oversee utilities and infrastructure, optimise maintenance

Qualifications

• Experienced Engineering Leader in manufacturing, preferably food/FMCG.
• Proven ability to manage site engineering functions and budgets.
• Strong problem solving, root cause analysis and continuous improvement mindset.
• Good communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance to maximise plant availability.
• Oversee site utilities and infrastructure, driving efficiency and cost reduction.
• Coach and develop the engineering team, building capability and performance.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and food safety compliance and audit readiness.
• Manage contractors, service providers and budgeting for maintenance activities.
• Drive TPM, Lean and reliability initiatives to improve performance and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Procurement and Commercial teams on improvements.
• Balance day‑to‑day operation with long‑term engineering strategy.
