Job summary

PR Recruitment is seeking reliable candidates with proven experience operating heavy plant (360 Excavators, Cranes, Dumpers or Loading Shovels) in a busy industrial or logistics environment. You will handle, move and load raw materials safely, support production and keep high housekeeping standards across the site.

Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have a solid track record of reliability, good timekeeping and attendance. Shift work of 12-hour days and 12-hour nights is involved.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience in yard, quarry, recycling or heavy manufacturing settings is desirable.

Job description

We are looking for reliable, safety‑conscious candidates with proven experience as a raw materials operator - operating 360 Excavators, Cranes, Dumpers or Loading Shovels within a busy industrial or logistics environment.

The role involves handling, moving and loading raw materials safely and efficiently, supporting continuous production and maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the site.

Candidates must be confident operating heavy plant, carrying out routine checks, and following strict safety procedures. Experience working in fast‑paced yard, quarry, recycling, or heavy manufacturing settings is highly desirable.

A full UK driving licence is required, along with a solid track record of reliability, good timekeeping and consistent attendance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, communicating clearly with shift supervisors, and maintaining safe working practices at all times.

This role will include shift working of 12 hour days and 12 hour nights.

Salary is £15.77 per hour paid 44.5 hours per week (£701.77 per week)
