Job summary

embecta seeks a Plant Director based in Oxfordshire to lead two UK manufacturing sites, with full P&L accountability and oversight of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People. You will shape strategic direction, drive continuous improvement, and build a high-performing culture across Production, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, industrial management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• MBA is preferred for senior leadership.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in medical device/pharma manufacturing.
• Proven track record leading large manufacturing operations (100+ employees).
• Experience directing Production, Engineering, HR, Finance and Supply Chain.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and ability to drive results in constrained environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across two UK manufacturing sites (Chipping Norton and Witney).
• Own plant-level P&L, budgets and manufacturing performance.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and HR.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and people metrics.
• Build a strong safety and quality culture with regulatory compliance (GMP/ISO).
• Lead organizational change and succession planning to enable growth.
