Job description

Building a sustainable tomorrow

Bam Nuttall is currently recruiting for a Plant Coordinator to support site teams, both remotely and on-site, with the inspection and maintenance of work equipment, ensuring that projects comply with BAM Nuttall Procedure (NP1.4).

Your mission
  • Searching for suitable work equipment, checking with CITB for applicable CPCS category or setting out competence requirements.

  • Procuring and organising delivery of equipment, support Site Supervisors with the required competence checks.

  • When work equipment arrives on site, assist Site Supervisors with condition checks.

  • Ensuring PDI and manufacturers manuals are received.

  • Completing MC04 checklists with instructions from manufacturers manual.

  • Work closely with operational teams to prioritise repairs and maintenance.

  • Organising with suppliers and manufacturers familiarisation training of equipment.

  • Familiarise others in the safe operation and correct maintenance of plant

  • Populating MF45 work register for sites.

  • Supporting sites with pre-checks every 7 days until the equipment is off hired.

  • Maintaining equipment records and ensure all equipment is off hired and collected as required by sites

  • Supporting the completion of PF901s (Forward Tipping Dumper Permit) and PF902s (Plant being used on the public highway permit) to align with works programme. Ensuring permits are renewed as required.

  • Use observation cards to communicate concerns and ideas.

  • Provide clear and concise data and records

  • Complete detailed daily record of work activities

  • Plan daily/weekly work programme with site team

  • Carry out other relevant duties as required from time to time.

Who are we looking for?
  • CSCS

  • Knowledge of equipment used in the construction industry

  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of operating IT hardware and systems, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
