Job summary

Michael Page Finance is assisting a Nottingham-based manufacturing/engineering group in recruiting a Finance Manager. You will define the finance strategy for the site and partner with factory managers to shape business plans and forecasts, including product costing, overheads analysis and capex governance.

You will work autonomously with regional support, driving robust controls, and delivering actionable financial insight to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Qualified finance professional with a background in manufacturing and strong ERP experience.
• Proven ability to partner with site operations and drive financial insight.
• Advanced Excel skills and capability to translate financial data into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Define the financial strategy for the site and contribute to group budgeting.
• Lead product and cost analysis, overheads, and capex discussions for the factory.
• Partner with factory managers to translate strategy into actionable business plans and forecasts.
• Ensure robust business controls in line with group policies.

Nottingham based division of an International Manufacturing / engineering business, well established and growing

Description

As a key part of the site management team, working autonomously with support from a Regional Controller your responsibilities will be.

• Contributing to the definition of the finance strategy for your respective factory/manufacturing site.

• Product and job costing, overheads analysis, BOM management, Gross Margin analysis, plant Capex

• ,Serving as the key partner to factory managers in determining strategy for your own area of responsibility and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategy, implementing them, and adjusting, as needed.

• Translating the finance strategy into business plans and establishing measurable targets and overseeing the business planning and forecasting process for your area of responsibility.

• Ensuring robust Business Controls are in place, regularly reviewed and tested and in line with group policies/procedures.

Profile

You will be a qualified or QBE finance Manager with experience in and a passion for Manufacturing, you will be strong with ERP systems, excel and a proven Business Partner to site Operations
