Michael Page Finance is assisting a Nottingham-based manufacturing/engineering group in recruiting a Finance Manager. You will define the finance strategy for the site and partner with factory managers to shape business plans and forecasts, including product costing, overheads analysis and capex governance.
You will work autonomously with regional support, driving robust controls, and delivering actionable financial insight to support strategic decisions.
Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions

As a key part of the site management team, working autonomously with support from a Regional Controller your responsibilities will be.
Contributing to the definition of the finance strategy for your respective factory/manufacturing site.
,Serving as the key partner to factory managers in determining strategy for your own area of responsibility and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategy, implementing them, and adjusting, as needed.
Translating the finance strategy into business plans and establishing measurable targets and overseeing the business planning and forecasting process for your area of responsibility.
Ensuring robust Business Controls are in place, regularly reviewed and tested and in line with group policies/procedures.
You will be a qualified or QBE finance Manager with experience in and a passion for Manufacturing, you will be strong with ERP systems, excel and a proven Business Partner to site Operations
55-60k plus bonus, generous pension and onward career progression within an international Group
