Job summary

T2M Resourcing is recruiting a Plant Controller for their manufacturing group in Telford. The role reports to the UK plant leadership and requires on-site presence five days a week. The salary is up to £70K depending on experience.

You will lead financial analysis, budgeting and costing, partnering with operations teams to improve site performance and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or qualified by experience with strong manufacturing finance experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, standard costing, BOMs, routings, COGS and variances.
• Experience forecasting, budgeting and operational performance reviews.
• Strong business partnering skills, with the confidence to work closely with senior operations and site leadership.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills; ERP experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in a changing operational environment, including transformation, process improvement and site performance improvement activity.

Responsibilities

• Location: Telford (5 days a week required on site).
• Salary: up to £70K subject to experience.

What will you be doing?

As Plant Controller, you will provide financial leadership, analysis and business partnering support to the UK manufacturing plant.

The role will work closely with manufacturing operations including the leadership team, manufacturing support functions and commercial finance to ensure manufacturing performance is clearly understood, accurately reported and actively improved.

This is a key business partnering role, supporting operating reviews, forecasting, budgeting, site scorecards, inventory control, product costing, and operational transformation activity. The role will take leadership responsibility for a Finance Analyst (Manufacturing).
