Job summary

Danone UK & Ireland is seeking a Senior Category Manager to lead the Plant-based category commercially for the UK & IRE, building strong partnerships with senior buying teams and delivering the category vision.

The role focuses on optimizing space, distribution, promotions, and range reviews across Tesco and other key customers, with a multi-year plan to drive growth and win in market. A 12-month contract with salary band of £70,000–£85,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as senior category management, ideally with Tesco or Top 5 retailers.
• Strong stakeholder and cross-functional management shown in complex environments.
• Ability to influence others and build compelling narratives from data.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer growth partnerships and drive the Plant-based category plan for UK & IRE.
• Lead range reviews, space and distribution, and develop category education with trade PR.
• Create and execute annual commercial calendars with KPI tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with Sales, Shopper Marketing and Commercial Planning to win in market.
