Job summary

Aureos are seeking a temporary Plant Administrator to join their Crewe team on a fixed term 6 month contract. The role supports transmission construction and maintenance projects by managing administrative, logistical, and compliance processes relating to plant, equipment, tools and fleet used on HV substations and overhead line works.

Responsibilities

• Manage the booking, allocation, and tracking of plant, tools, MEWPs, lifting equipment, generators, and HV gear.
• Maintain an accurate plant register for transmission projects (substations, OHL, cable routes).
• Coordinate deliveries, collections, off-hire, and transfers between sites.
• Ensure plant is available to meet project schedules and minimise downtime.
• Track expiry dates and schedule inspections, servicing, and testing.
• Support RAMS, equipment registers, and safety documentation for site teams.
• Liaise with approved suppliers for hire, repair, servicing, and replacement of plant.
• Track hire costs, utilisation, off-hire dates, and cost codes.
• Maintain accurate digital records for: plant registers, certificates & inspections, delivery notes, off-hire confirmations, purchase orders, calibration logs.
