Job summary

Aureos Group is seeking a temporary Plant Administrator to join their Crewe team. You will support transmission construction and maintenance projects by managing administrative, logistical, and compliance processes for plant, equipment, and fleet used on HV substations and overhead line works.

The role requires strong organisational skills, IT proficiency (Excel, SharePoint, asset management systems), and the ability to work to tight schedules with multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, utilities, or engineering administration.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Strong IT skills with Excel, SharePoint, and asset-management systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Safety-conscious and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Book, allocate and track plant, tools, MEWPs, lifting gear, generators and HV equipment.
• Maintain plant register for transmission projects.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections and transfers between sites.
• Ensure plant availability to meet project schedules and minimise downtime.
• Track expiry dates and schedule inspections and testing.
• Support RAMS, equipment registers and safety documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers for hire, repair, servicing and replacement.
• Track hire costs, utilisation, off-hire dates, and cost codes.
• Maintain digital records for certificates, inspections, delivery notes, and calibration logs.
