You will validate planning applications, ensure compliance with national and local requirements, and support the planning team with efficient handling of submissions within tight turnaround times. Training and development are provided to support career growth.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in planning, validation or office-based administration.
• Able to read and understand basic site plans and supporting documentation.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work to targets in a busy environment.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Aufgaben

• Validate planning applications within 24–48 hour turnaround targets.
• Review submissions against national and local validation requirements.
• Assess plans, documents and certificates for accuracy and completeness.
• Liaise with applicants, agents and stakeholders for amendments or information.
• Process additional and amended documentation for live applications.
• Identify statutory consultation requirements.
• Register and allocate applications per internal procedures.
• Carry out basic GIS and mapping checks.
• Maintain accurate records in planning systems.
• Respond to validation queries professionally.
• Operate within KPIs and quality standards in a high-volume setting.
