Job summary

Osborne Richardson is recruiting a Planning Technician for a busy local authority in the West Midlands. You will be involved in a range of administrative functions including validation and registration of planning applications and responding to technical enquiries.

The role is initially 3 months with potential for extension. It is hybrid, with one day a week in the office (Tuesday) and a rate of £25 per hour Umbrella, inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a similar Planning role for a Local Authority is essential.
• Responsible for validation and registration of planning applications.
• Handle inbound calls and provide technical information to customers.
• Manage a high volume of emails in a busy Development Management service.
