Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a qualified solicitor with up to 5 years' experience in planning work to advise private- and public-sector clients on contentious and non-contentious planning and environmental matters in Manchester.

You will work with Public Sector, Real Estate, Construction and Corporate colleagues to provide commercial advice, handle complex planning applications, and support partners. The role includes training junior staff and Lexcel compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with up to 5 years' experience in planning work.
• Exceptional technical legal skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advise private- and public-sector clients on contentious and non-contentious planning and environmental matters.
• Handle complex planning applications, legal reviews and strategic advice.
• Prepare and advise on Section 106 and Section 278 agreements.
• Build and maintain effective client relationships and provide commercial advice.
• Train and develop junior legal staff and oversee Lexcel compliance.
