Job summary

G2Legal is seeking a Planning Solicitor to join a growing national Planning team with a focus on development projects, regeneration schemes, and environmental work. The role involves advising developers, local authorities and providers on complex planning matters from a Manchester base, handling high-quality matters and contributing to firm growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with up to 5 years’ PQE in planning law.
• Excellent technical legal skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong client focus and commitment to delivering an excellent service.
• Good commercial awareness and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Advising on complex planning applications, including legal reviews and strategic advice
• Drafting and negotiating Section 106 agreements
• Advising on Section 278 agreements
• Providing planning due diligence on commercial and corporate transactions
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
• Managing files in accordance with the firm’s procedures
• Participating in training and mentoring junior team members
