Job summary

Rolf Berryman is seeking a solicitor qualified in England and Wales to join our national Planning and Environment team. The role involves advising housebuilders, developers and local authorities on planning matters, including Section 106 agreements, highways and statutory agreements across offices in Leeds, London, Birmingham and Manchester.

You will conduct due diligence for contentious planning matters and corporate transactions, while supporting junior and senior team members.

Qualifications

• Be a solicitor qualified in England and Wales.
• Have significant experience working in a reputable Planning team.
• Be able to work to tight deadlines and work efficiently.
• Have strong academics and an excellent writing style.
• Have fantastic communication and written skills.
• Be confident when dealing with clients.

Responsibilities

It will also involve carrying out due diligence for contentious planning matters and for corporate transactions as well as supporting the wider team by collaborating closely with more junior and more senior members.
