Job summary

Accenture in London is seeking a hands-on Planning, Performance & Insights professional to help clients transform budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning. You will connect strategic and operational planning with data analytics and modern planning technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience participating in or supporting budgeting, forecasting or long-range planning process.
• Understanding how operational drivers affect income statements, balance sheets and cash flow.
• Experience with modern planning platforms and model configuration across dimensions, hierarchies, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Document current planning processes, calendars, roles, systems, data flows and pain points using interviews, workshops and evidence.
• Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into process maps, user stories, functional requirements and model inputs.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify key drivers, trends, and opportunities to improve planning and performance insight.
• Configure or support the configuration of planning models across dimensions, hierarchies, assumptions, calculations, allocations, scenarios, workflow, security and reporting.
• Support data preparation, migration, integration, reconciliation, testing and UAT, ensuring outputs are complete and traceable.
• Develop planning reports, dashboards, variance analysis and forecast-quality measures to explain changes and actions.
• Support predictive forecasting and ML use cases by preparing data and validating results.
• Prepare process documentation, training materials and user guidance for deployment and adoption.
• Take ownership of deliverables and contribute to proposals, market research and reusable assets.
