An established industry player is seeking a DM Planning Officer to manage a diverse range of planning applications. This role requires a solid understanding of UK planning legislation and at least two years of relevant experience. You will be responsible for processing and negotiating pre-application proposals, coordinating assessments, and providing valuable input into planning statements. The position offers a hybrid working model, allowing for flexibility between office and home. Our client is a local authority who require a DM Planning Officer to undertake a role that will involve the processing and negotiation of pre-application proposals including co-ordinating all associated assessment work and providing input into planning statements, briefs, and appropriate technical practice notes. You will work on a wide range of planning applications.
To apply for this role you will need a good working knowledge of UK planning legislation. You will need at least 2 years’ experience of processing planning applications and you will need to be comfortable managing a busy caseload. A relevant, RTPI accredited, degree level qualification is required.
The role is based in East London, but will be a hybrid office/home working role. The rate offered is £31.38/hr (umbrella) and it will initially be offered for 3 months, though it is likely to be extended. Contact us for full details.
