What we are recruiting for

We are seeking a Planning Manager in our consulting division to oversee planning for various new projects. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, developing methodologies, and ensuring timely delivery. You will collaborate with operations to optimize project execution and address rectification actions.

Roles & responsibilities

• Develop project plans, programmes, and reports following Lendlease procedures
• Collaborate on preconstruction and construction methodologies for efficient delivery
• Report on project progress regularly against plans
• Support creation and status updates of medium and short-term programmes
• Create weekly dashboards on project status and issues
• Advise project directors on critical issues and strategies
• Chair weekly planning meetings for programme coordination
• Review change proposals for time impacts
• Assess and record delays and impacts through Event Analysis
• Benchmark production rates and delays for future projects
• Foster team understanding and ownership of project plans

Experience & background

Essential

• Understanding of pre-construction processes and procurement methods
• Knowledge of construction contracts and commercial terms
• Effective communication with stakeholders and senior management
• Ability to produce clear reports and diagrams
• Proficiency in P6 software
• Knowledge of CPA planning techniques and project controls
• Experience with NEC contracts

Desirable

• Experience in relevant industry sectors
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
