Job summary

Kier Group in Suffolk is seeking a Planning Manager to lead planning and programme management for a major nuclear infrastructure project at Sizewell C. The role is based in Suffolk, working within the project team to ensure delivery milestones align with contractual obligations.

You'll develop integrated programmes using Primavera P6, monitor progress, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The position offers demanding responsibilities and opportunities across UK infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Significant planning experience in infrastructure projects.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 and look-ahead schedules.
• Experience in UK infrastructure environments under NEC contracts.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated project programmes using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Monitor progress and productivity; produce weekly and monthly reports, dashboards, and programme narratives.
• Analyze delays and develop mitigation, recovery, and acceleration plans.
• Support commercial teams with change impact assessments and extension-of-time submissions.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to coordinate programme interfaces and achieve milestones.
