Job summary

RBW Consulting is seeking a Planning Manager for a fast-paced FMCG manufacturer in Widnes. The role is hybrid, with three days on site, and focuses on owning and improving planning processes through advanced Excel modelling.

Responsibilities include end-to-end planning, forecasting, capacity planning, and stakeholder collaboration to drive planning excellence and ensure supply continuity. Strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in planning within FMCG manufacturing.
• Advanced Excel skills for complex modelling and scenario analysis.
• Experience leading S&OP and forecasting activities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive process improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end planning process across the business.
• Develop and maintain production, inventory, and supply plans.
• Lead S&OP and forecasting activities.
• Manage capacity planning and identify supply risks.
• Analyse demand trends and convert data into actionable decisions.
• Maintain and enhance Excel-based planning tools.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain and Commercial.
• Drive process improvements and best practices.
• Monitor planning metrics and provide performance reporting.
• Support growth with accurate forecasting and resource planning.
