Job summary

BBF Limited in Blackburn is seeking a Planning & MRP Manager to lead the planning and MRP team across Blackburn and Shadsworth. You will translate forecasts into achievable production schedules that balance service levels with operational costs, labour, waste, warehousing and transport constraints.

You'll work closely with capacity, procurement and site teams, maintain data accuracy in ERP and MRP systems, and drive continuous improvement while coaching a high‑performing planning team in a

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in planning/production environments.
• Strong scheduling and MRP process knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.
• Experience in FMCG or consumer goods environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and MRP team across Blackburn & Shadsworth.
• Produce and communicate a 3‑month capacity plan targeting service and cost goals.
• Manage stock and deliveries to 3PLs with accurate records.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning and MRP processes.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing planning team.
