The Oyster Partnership is assisting a Local Authority in the East Midlands to recruit an Interim Planning Manager to lead Development Management, Planning Policy and Minerals & Waste teams on an initial 6-month contract.

This is a strategic leadership role, working with senior leadership and elected members to drive performance and service delivery, with flexible hybrid working available.

Qualifications

• Experience managing planning functions within a Local Authority.
• Strong Development Management and Policy background.
• Experience leading planning teams and managing performance.
• Minerals & Waste experience is desirable.

Job description

This is a strategic leadership role, managing three planning functions while working closely with senior leadership and elected members to drive performance and service delivery.

Working arrangements:

• 700 per day
