Job summary

VIQU Energy Limited is seeking a Planning Lead based in Liverpool with a hybrid working pattern to support a growing portfolio of energy infrastructure projects across the UK.

You will discharge planning conditions, secure amendments, and coordinate with local authorities and external stakeholders while leading meetings and guiding the team through potential risks and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Around 2–5 years of planning experience or in a related role.
• Experience dealing with planning conditions, amendments or development planning.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence leading meetings and working with external stakeholders.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning conditions and secure planning amendments across development projects.
• Work with local authorities, planning consultants and other external stakeholders.
• Lead meetings and keep the wider team updated on progress, risks and potential issues.
• Identify planning challenges and work with the team to find solutions.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple planning workstreams and ensure actions are followed through.
