Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Planning Manager for a major infrastructure programme in London. The role calls for leading planning across a complex multi-contractor environment, maintaining integrated schedules and delivering clear schedule intelligence for successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will have extensive infrastructure planning experience, strong Primavera P6 skills, and solid NEC contract knowledge, with the ability to influence stakeholders and provide early warning

Qualifications

• Significant planning experience on major infrastructure or capital projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
• Proven experience managing master schedules and integrating multiple contractor programmes.
• Good understanding of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
• Experience assessing compensation events and programme changes.
• Experience in a complex, multi-contractor project environment.
• Strong understanding of critical path scheduling and programme management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive approach to identify risks and emerging issues early.
• Experience providing planning leadership and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain complex project schedules across multiple contractors and suppliers.
• Integrate contractor programmes into a consolidated master programme.
• Monitor progress, critical paths, milestones and dependencies.
• Identify delays, risks and emerging issues and advise project teams.
• Assess programme changes and their impact on delivery.
• Provide planning leadership and project controls support to managers.
• Produce clear programme reports and progress updates for senior stakeholders.
• Guide planning resources within the project team.
