Job Objectives

As an experienced Project Controls Professional in life sciences or data centres, you will establish processes, templates, and tools, set the baseline for cost and schedule, monitor performance, and incorporate risks, opportunities, and changes.

  • Identify trends and root causes of deviations, recommend remedial actions to optimize value.
  • Evaluate project’s time, cost, and quality targets, applying governance controls for successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with remote cost management teams to establish market-tested cost baselines and ensure value for money.
  • Guide and influence contractors, ensuring schedule adherence and cash flow compliance.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, addressing delivery and commercial issues, and preparing reports on time, cost, and quality.
  • Manage costs with knowledge of estimating, funding gates, contingency, and procurement principles.
  • Create and maintain cost reports and executive dashboards.
  • Lead change management processes, tracking and approving changes.
  • Coordinate planning sessions, establish project schedules, and define critical paths.
  • Manage procurement schedules, vendor requirements, and material ordering priorities.
  • Participate in risk evaluations, incorporating risks into Monte Carlo simulations for project impacts.
  • Monitor project changes, communicate updates, and facilitate approvals.
  • Hold vendors accountable for schedule updates and reporting, ensuring schedule quality and adherence.
Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in project controls across project lifecycle phases, especially in life sciences or data centres.
  • Ability to analyze data, determine corrective actions, and evaluate information critically.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and Primavera P6.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Reliable, autonomous, and team-oriented.
  • Strong time management, quick thinking, and deadline-oriented.
  • Motivated, driven, and capable of independent work.
