Job Objectives

As an experienced Project Controls Professional in life sciences or data centers, you will establish processes, templates, and tools, and set the baseline for cost and schedule, monitoring performance and incorporating risks, opportunities, and changes. Your responsibilities include:

  • Identifying trends and root causes of deviations, recommending remedial actions to maximize value for the client.
  • Evaluating project’s time, cost, and quality targets, applying governance controls for successful delivery.
  • Collaborating with remote cost management teams to develop and maintain an market-tested cost baseline.
  • Guiding and influencing general contractors to ensure schedule progress within cash flow parameters.
  • Serving as the key client contact, resolving delivery and commercial issues, and preparing reports on time, cost, and quality.
  • Controlling costs through conceptual estimating, funding stage gates, contingency, and procurement principles.
  • Creating and managing cost reports and executive dashboards.
  • Leading change management processes, tracking, and monitoring changes.
  • Coordinating planning sessions to develop project schedules and critical paths.
  • Managing procurement schedules and vendor requirements.
  • Participating in risk evaluations and incorporating risks into Monte Carlo simulations.
  • Managing project changes and ensuring schedule updates are timely and accurate.
Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in project controls across all project phases, especially in life sciences or data centers.
  • Ability to analyze data, determine corrective actions, and evaluate information critically.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and Primavera P6.
  • Commitment to excellent service delivery.
  • Reliability, autonomy, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong time management and quick decision-making abilities.
  • Motivated, driven, and capable of working independently.
