Job Objectives

As an experienced Project Controls Professional in life sciences or data centers, you will establish necessary processes, templates, and tools, set the baseline for cost and schedule, monitor performance, and incorporate risks, opportunities, and changes in a controlled manner. Your responsibilities include:

  • Identify trends and root causes of deviations, recommend remedial actions to optimize value for the client.
  • Evaluate project’s time, cost, and quality targets, applying governance controls for successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with remote cost management teams to develop and maintain market-tested cost baselines, ensuring value for money.
  • Guide and influence general contractors to progress in line with schedules and cash flow parameters.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, resolving delivery and commercial issues, and preparing reports on time, cost, and quality.
  • Control costs using conceptual estimating, funding stage gates, contingency, and procurement principles.
  • Create and maintain cost reports, including executive dashboards.
  • Lead change management processes, tracking and approving changes effectively.
  • Coordinate planning sessions to develop project schedules, agree on baselines, and define critical paths.
  • Manage procurement timelines, communicate with vendors and clients to meet scheduled installations.
  • Define vendor schedule requirements with clients.
  • Participate in risk evaluations, incorporating risks into Monte Carlo simulations for quantitative impact analysis.
  • Monitor project changes, communicate updates, and facilitate approvals within the change management process.
  • Ensure vendors provide timely schedule updates, maintaining schedule integrity and quality standards.
Qualifications

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in project controls coordination across all project phases, especially in life sciences or data centers.
  • Ability to analyze data, determine corrective actions, and evaluate information critically from various sources.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Primavera P6.
  • Strong commitment to excellent service delivery.
  • Reliable, autonomous, and team-oriented.
  • Excellent time management, quick thinking, and deadline-oriented.
  • Highly motivated, driven, and capable of working independently.
