Marshall Harmony is seeking a Planning Engineer who is adept at managing production workflows and understands technical drawings and machining processes. As a Planning Engineer, you know what it takes to get a part out the door on time and done properly, you re used to looking at drawings & knowing exactly how a job needs to run.
You understand the manufacturing process, from what s done in house to what gets sent out to subcontractors, and you know how to build a routing card that makes commercial and practical sense.
This is a business where some processes stay on site and others are subcontracted, there is a separate team that manages the subcontractor s day to day, but you ll work closely with them to make sure everything fits together.
You ll be raising routing cards for production, keeping things tight on lead time and cost. You ll know how to spot where things could be streamlined, and you ll be trusted to use your judgement.
Maybe you ve worked as a Planning Engineer before, or maybe you ve been on the shop floor and want to bring that experience into an office role, either way, you ll need to be confident reading technical drawings and understanding machining capability.
You ll be joining a business that has the scale to invest but still values practical experience. This isn t about sitting in meetings all day, it s about making a real difference to how workflows through the shop floor.
