Job description

What will you be doing?

Joining us as Senior Funeral Digital & Customer Manager, you’ll be delivering activity aimed at developing our digital platforms and market share growth.

You’ll own, deliver and report on our digital content and campaigns as well as taking ownership of the below-the-line marketing plan and budget.

Utilising your people management skills, you’ll be leading both a direct team as well as 3rd parties in all aspects of creation and delivery of the plan.

You’ll be working collaboratively with our Brand, Membership, technology and Funeral commercial teams to launch and communicate all aspects of our funeral business to our members and customers.

In addition, you’ll work closely with the Operations teams in engaging in the funeral proposition, digital and marketing campaigns, as well as working with Commercial and Suppliers to secure funding/stock for Funeral campaigns.

By using data and insights, you’ll help drive awareness of our Funeral business as well as updates to our stakeholders on campaign outcomes and future forecasting. You’ll also use data to drive ongoing centrally driven communications to clients and customers (such as anniversaries and events)

With a focus on driving engagement and sales, you’ll own the colleague and members offer.

You’ll have responsibility for maintaining and developing the website’s functionality, content and design- making sure it is in line with brand guidance as well as upholding all digital design standards (such as accessibility and search engine optimisation). Additionally, you’ll maintain listings on search engines (using Yext) for Google My Business listings and review platforms.

Making a positive impact in the community is important to us, and this role will see you supporting the funeral team in driving community engagement.

How will I know if I am right for this role?

We are looking for an experienced Senior Leader who brings a background in CRM, digital sales and web platform development.

A data driven, analytical thinker, you’ll be using website analytics and reporting methodologies to help measure marketing effectiveness. You’ll ideally hold an Analytics professional qualification in addition to your Marketing degree (or similar)

Due to the collaborative nature of the role, you’ll need strong communication and presentation skills.

You’ll also need good knowledge and experience of MS Excel, PowerBI and Adobe.

Ideally you will have proven experience of delivering BTL marketing campaigns at scale.

What is in it for me?
