Job summary

Smile Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 PPA Cover Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Greater Manchester (M40), delivering high-quality lessons across Years 3 to 6. The role is a permanent, full-time position with PPA release responsibilities during term-time.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent qualification, have KS2 teaching experience, and demonstrate strong behaviour management and effective communication to inspire pupils.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Be flexible, organised, and confident teaching across multiple year groups.
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching that engages and inspires pupils.

Responsibilities

• Delivering well-planned, engaging lessons across Years 3 to 6.
• Maintaining strong classroom routines and positive behaviour.
• Supporting pupil progress during class teacher release time.
• Working collaboratively with class teachers and support staff.
