Job description

Job role: Planning and Logistics Manager

Report to: Senior Operations Manager

Based at: Glebe Farm Foods Ltd.

Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that orders are planned into the production plan and that the logistics of pickups and deliveries are executed on time and in full through effective communication and planning.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure all orders are integrated into the production plan to meet delivery deadlines.
• Liaise with local and international 3rd party packers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of packaging and products.
• Maintain accurate stock levels on SAGE 200.
• Communicate with the senior Operations Manager and Finance to manage stock levels based on sales forecasts.
• Coordinate with the Sales Department to align on sales forecasts.
• Manage logistics companies to meet delivery requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Investigate customer delivery complaints.
• Ensure all customs documentation for exports is accurate.
• Perform other tasks as required by the business.

Skills and experience

The role requires:

• Experience with Sage 200.
• Data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of BRC standards and requirements.
• Ability to meet KPIs such as 'Order in Time in Full', 'Warehouse GMP Audit', and 'Orders produced in time and in full'.
