Job summary

RSE is seeking an experienced Planner to join our planning department, working on projects across our offices in Cumbernauld and Stepps. The role involves developing and maintaining detailed programmes with Primavera P6 and MS Project, coordinating with operations, commercial and design teams, and supporting delivery schedules.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and within a team, with a Full UK Driving

Qualifications

• Demonstrable planning experience within similar engineering environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and Primavera P6.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships inside and outside the Company.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop logic-driven programmes, including cost and/or resource-loaded schedules.
• Create detailed design and construction programmes incorporating subcontractor schedules.
• Monitor, update and report on programme status.
• Identify critical activities and propose remedial actions to keep projects on track.
• Provide multi-project programmes to identify resource constraints.
• Collaborate with clients, Project Managers and Engineers across teams.
