Job summary

Mane Contract Services is recruiting a Planner with Primavera P6 experience for a 12-month contract to support a major energy infrastructure project in Scotland. The role covers planning across design and construction, developing integrated programmes, and applying earned value techniques to monitor progress.

You will own the planning process, manage critical path and float, and provide reporting to project and portfolio managers while working to meet net-zero ambitions.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6.
• Ability to assess change and time risk impact.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Effective stakeholder engagement across teams.
• Experience in client programme development for early project phases.
• Experience delivering construction and civil installation projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated, cost-loaded project programmes, including critical path and float analysis.
• Review and validate supplier and contractor programmes for compliance.
• Support tender evaluation by assessing programme quality and deliverability.
• Apply earned value and planning controls to monitor progress and performance.
• Analyse schedule variance, early warnings and change impacts.
• Verify progress during design and construction, including site visits.
• Provide clear programme reporting to project and portfolio managers.
• Maintain baselines and support regulatory reporting.
