Job summary

VolkerWessels UK is seeking a Senior Planner to support civil projects at Cockfosters, London. You will drive the planning effort, ensure compliance with tender and contract requirements, and reflect technical scope in project plans to manage progress and risks.

Role requires extensive civil planning experience, NEC/JCT contract familiarity, and proficiency in Primavera P6 or Asta Powerproject. A UK driving licence is essential. The position is based on-site in London.

Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Planner experienced in planning for civil works, to join our project at Cockfosters, London. You will be responsible for:

• Providing project planning support to the Project Lead and their teams.
• Ensuring that all clients tender and contractual requirements are understood and complied with in relation to project planning, resource planning and progress planning.
• Ensuring that the project plans for assigned contracts accurately reflect the technical scope of works
• Monitoring progress and identifying risks early, ensuring proactive solutions are in place.
• Providing expert planning advice across multiple projects, influencing outcomes and driving excellence.
• Proven project planning experience
• Detailed knowledge of using planning software, Primavera P6 / Asta Powerproject
• Experience with working on NEC/JCT contract types
• Experience of working on Civils, Aviation or highways projects
• Degree qualified (or holds an equivalent qualification)
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
