Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick is seeking an experienced project planner to provide planning support to the Project Lead and teams on civil, infrastructure and highway projects in the UK.

You will ensure tender and contractual requirements are understood in relation to planning, resource and progress, reflect the technical scope in project plans, monitor progress and identify risks early, and provide expert planning advice across multiple projects to influence outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven project planning experience.
• Detailed knowledge of planning software Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject.
• Experience with NEC/JCT contract types.
• Experience on civil, aviation or highways projects.
• Degree qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Providing project planning support to the Project Lead and their teams.
• Ensuring that all clients tender and contractual requirements are understood and complied with in relation to project planning, resource planning and progress planning.
• Ensuring that the project plans for assigned contracts accurately reflect the technical scope of works.
• Monitoring progress and identifying risks early, ensuring proactive solutions are in place.

About You

• Proven project planning experience
• Detailed knowledge of using planning software, Primavera P6 / Asta Powerproject
• Experience with working on NEC/JCT contract types
• Experience of working on Civils, Aviation or highways projects
• Degree qualified (or holds an equivalent qualification)
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
