Job summary

Rullion Ltd is recruiting a Project Planner to support the client in planning and coordinating projects across a large portfolio. The role requires NEC3/4 expertise, P6 scheduling, and MS Project proficiency, with hybrid working available and up to 40 hours per week.

You will help plan activities, allocate resources, and mitigate risks to ensure projects are delivered on time, from tender through to completion.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts.
• Proven experience delivering large/complex engineering projects.
• Build, maintain and analyse project schedules using P6 and MS Project.
• Produce Tender programmes alongside Bid teams and provide updates.

Responsibilities

• Support planning of project activities across a large portfolio.
• Coordinate resources and monitor progress to mitigate risk.
• Prepare Tender programmes in collaboration with Bid teams.
• Provide regular programme updates to stakeholders and clients.

Role information:

• To provide support to the project delivery team in the planning and coordination of projects and programme activities. Support will be across a large portfolio of projects and include planning of project activities, resource, and helping the team to mitigate risk to deliver projects on time. The right candidate will have experience of full project lifecycles, from Tender through to completion

Qualifications/Experience Required:

• Expert knowledge of NEC3/4
• Proven experience of both P6 and Microsoft Project to deliver large/complex engineering projects
• Solid understanding of reporting cycles and managing programme delivery within an NEC contract
• Build, maintain and analyse project schedules and resource allocation in P6 and Microsoft Project across the portfolio
• Provide support with the project delivery teams to produce programme updates, including the ability to assess commercial impact for variations, and produce Tender programmes alongside the Bid teams.
• Monthly reporting of performance to key stakeholders and the client, utilising strong planning principles such as critical path, variance comparisons, and terminal float analysis to drive project progress and manage project risk.
