Job summary

SER Limited is seeking a Planner to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects across the Midlands, based in Loughborough. The role involves developing, maintaining and monitoring programmes from tender through to delivery, ensuring safety, efficiency and on-schedule completion.

You will work with Operations and Project Management teams, produce detailed programmes, monitor progress, identify risks and mitigation strategies, support tender planning, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Experience as a Planner in civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience on highways, earthworks, drainage, structures, utilities or major projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Monitor progress against programme and identify risks and mitigations.
• Work closely with Contracts Managers, Project Managers and Site Teams.
• Prepare programme updates for client and internal meetings.
• Support tender planning and bid submissions where required.
• Analyse critical paths and resource requirements.
• Assist with reporting, forecasting and project performance reviews.

Planner – Civil Engineering

£50,000 - £65,000 + Package

An established and highly respected civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Planner to support the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and civil engineering projects across the Midlands.

The Role
