Job summary

Linear Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Planner for a leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure specialist based in Birmingham. You will support tendering, pre-construction and live projects, applying Primavera P6 to manage methods, sequencing and progress.

The role requires a site-level planner with contractor background, NEC contract knowledge, and CSCS card. Attractive package includes long-term secured work and pension options.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a site-level role for a UK construction contractor.
• Good knowledge of NEC and other relevant forms of contract.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 / Primavera Cloud.
• CSCS Card.
• Civil Engineering or Construction degree/equivalent desirable.

The business has over 40 years' experience and delivers major projects across water, transport, energy and the built environment, working with major clients across the UK.

We are looking for a Planner with a strong contractor background and site-level construction experience to support both estimating and delivery teams across tenders, pre-construction and live projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support tender and pre-construction planning.

• Establish construction methodologies, logic and sequencing.

• Monitor critical path, milestones and programme performance.

• Support project reporting and programme controls.
