Job summary

Talk Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Planner / Construction Planner for the North West region. This role blends office planning and site visits at preconstruction and live works, with focus on schedule integrity and coordination with client teams.

Salary £45,000-£65,000 is on offer. The ideal candidate will have main contractor experience, strong Asta PowerProject skills, and proven ability to manage complex programmes across Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, MOJ, or Residential

Qualifications

• Experience as Planner or Site Manager with Scheduling exposure.
• Experience on Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, MOJ, Residential or Leisure projects.
• Experience with main contractor.
• Expertise in planning software, ideally Asta PowerProject and MS packages.
• Tender planning experience would be an advantage.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills; well organized.

Responsibilities

• Mix of office and site visits on preconstruction and live works.
• Work at preconstruction stage and live works on construction projects.
• Use Asta PowerProject for planning tasks and scheduling.

Planner / Construction Planner *Reputable Building Main Contractor*

(Both Intermediate and Senior Planners Considered)

Location - North West

Mix of office and site visits working at preconstruction stage and live works on construction projects.

Software in use is Asta.

Requirements:

• Previous employment as a Planner or Site Manager / Engineer that has had exposure to Scheduling and Programming.
• Previous experience on construction / building projects such as (Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Industrial, MOJ, Residential or Leisure) is essential.
• Previous main contractor employment.
• Expertise in planning software, ideally Asta power project and other MS packages.
• Tender planning experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Confident and well organized.
• Results driven.
• High level of communication and client facing skills.
• Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC etc).

Remuneration:

The successful Planner will receive:

• £45,000 - £65,000 (Dependent on experience)
• Car / Allowance
