Job summary

Navartis Ltd is seeking an Assistant Planner for a leading main contractor in the East Midlands region. The role is based in Nottingham/Derby with a salary up to £40,000 and a car allowance/benefits package.

You will support aSenior Planner, contribute to planning on diverse projects across education, healthcare, commercial, residential and industrial sectors, and have opportunities for career progression within a stable pipeline of work.

Assistant Planner - Construction

Location: Nottingham / Derby

A leading main contractor is looking for an Assistant Planner to join their expanding East Midlands region. This company has a full order book and has recently secured a number of new contracts, the majority of which are on long term frameworks. Their portfolio includes a varied range of projects valued between including education, healthcare, commercial, residential and industrial schemes.

What will they consider?

• A Site Engineer or Construction Manager with 1-3 years experience that is interested in moving into Planning.
• A Trainee or Assistant Planner that is looking for a fresh challenge.

The Key Requirements:

• - Main contracting background within building/construction.
• - A practical construction management or engineering background is preferred but not essential.
• - Proficient in the use of Asta PowerProject (not essential if you are an Engineer or Site Manager looking to transition).
• - Exposure to a variety of commercial construction projects (commercial, education, health, etc.).
• - Excellent communication skills, works well under pressure, team player, able to work autonomously when required.
• - Full UK Driving Licence.
• - Qualified to a high standard in a relevant subject.
