Nottingham College is seeking an Industry Skills Coordinator (Fixed-Term Contract) to support students in gaining valuable industry experience. You will act as a conduit between curriculum teams, employers and learners to promote placements and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Student-centred, highly motivated individual.
• Ability to support and guide students to gain industry experience.
• Strong coordination between curriculum, employer and learner.

Responsabilités

• Act as conduit between curriculum team, employer and learner; update on progress.
• Promote work experience/placements within programmes to maximise opportunities for students.
• Ensure timely completion of work placement/experience within agreed timescales.
• Assist students in applying for placements in a professional manner.
• Ensure students log placement hours on the college system.
• Support curriculum teams in organising industry activities such as guest lectures and trips.
