Placement Software Developer - HP Wolf Security

Location: UKC01 - Cambridge, GBR (United Kingdom)

HP Wolf Security is seeking passionate students to join our engineering team as a Placement Software Developer for 12 months. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in cybersecurity and data pipeline development while contributing to cutting-edge security products.

Responsibilities:

1. Work on aggregating malware data from hardware and developing data pipelines, interfaces, and workflows for security analysts.
2. Contribute to Wolf Controller, a web application managing and reporting on security products.
3. Assist in the development of solutions that impact our products in the market.

Requirements:

• Academic or commercial experience with:
• AWS services: S3, Spark, Glue
• Elasticsearch
• Python programming: Flask, Pandas, JSON
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Personal passion projects using the above technologies are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• On track to or achieved a 2:1 or above.
